    After School Musical Theatre Leader

    Lauren graduated from LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts).
    Not only is she a keen Performing Arts teacher, having taught at many professional establishments across London and the South East, she is also an experienced performer in her own right.
    She is a member of the Sense of Sound Singers regularly performing all over the country including backing vocals for Yoko Ono’s ‘Double Fantasy Live’ at the Royal Festival Hall.

    Her performance credits include; Casanova (BBC/Red Productions), Annie (UK Tour), Oliver! (Genting International Showroom, Malaysia) and Princess Marigold in Jack And The Beanstalk (Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield). Commercials include Vanish, Lambrini and The Trafford Centre, Manchester.

    Her credits as a director and a choreographer include; Choreographer for John Newman and his backing vocalists (Festival Tour), Ed The Musical. Winner of 2009 MTM Best New Musical Award (Trafalgar Studios and Edinburgh Festival), West Side Story (New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth) Kiss of the Spider Woman (Emery Theatre, London) and The Wild Party (NSTC). She also assisted Choreographer, Struan Lesley, on the BBC series Casanova (Red Productions).

    Throughout her career Lauren has enjoyed teaching children of all ages in various disciplines. Since her son Teddy has come along she particularly enjoys watching their ever surprising capacity to change, grow and learn!
