The Lockdown Challenge.
WELCOME TO THE LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE
The Covid-19 crisis and Government advice on social distancing, means our doors must sadly stay closed for the foreseeable future.
With this in mind, we have launched THE LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE that will run throughout the summer term and we would LOVE your child/teen to get involved!
The Lockdown Challenge is open to ALL current TF students and other children and teens AND their local friends who are also interested in taking part.
It will be split into three stages with each stage running for 4 weeks of the summer term.
To make our Lockdown Challenge even more exciting, we are thrilled to announce our fantastic panel of industry guest stars who will be judging each stage.

STEP 3 – WARM UP
Before any rehearsal always “warm-up” to prevent any injuries happening whilst you are working on your song. Be sure to use the correct warm-up video for your age group.
What we are looking for
Warm Up: ages 4-6
Warm Up: ages 7-18
Tips for success
Choose a song that suits your voice well and shows it off to its best ability. Don’t choose a song which is out of your vocal range.
Think about the character, who is singing the song? Can you relate to them?
Most of all, make sure you enjoy singing the song you choose as this will come across in your performance!
Run the song over and over again. Remember; “practise makes perfect”!
FILM YOUR FINAL PERFORMANCE!
Ask a parent or member of your family to film you.
Make sure we can see and hear you clearly.
Don’t let the backing track dominate the sound!
REMEMBER: Clearly state your name and age to the camera at the start of your performance
SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO
Fill out your details and submit your video using the form and instructions below.
