The Lockdown Challenge.
WELCOME TO THE LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE
The Covid-19 crisis and Government advice on social distancing, means our doors must sadly stay closed for the foreseeable future.
With this in mind, we have launched THE LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE that will run throughout the summer term and we would LOVE your child/teen to get involved!
The Lockdown Challenge is open to ALL current TF students and other children and teens AND their local friends who are also interested in taking part.
It will be split into three stages with each stage running for 4 weeks of the summer term.
To make our Lockdown Challenge even more exciting, we are thrilled to announce our fantastic panel of industry guest stars who will be judging each stage.

Tips for success
CHOOSE A MONOLOGUE THAT SUITS YOU
- Monologues to be no more than 2 minutes long!
- Find material you can relate to and is appropriate for your age.
- Read/watch your chosen material in full, to gain a good understanding of your character. If you’ve chosen a “stand alone” monologue from our selection, make up the character’s “back story” to help you with this.
- Get creative – play around with costumes. This may help you get into character!
- LOVE the monologue you choose! Acting is all about having fun after all!
Learn the lines fully and then run the monologue over and over again, playing with different ideas. Remember to keep the “spontaneity” of the piece and don’t let it get boring!
FILM YOUR FINAL PERFORMANCE!
Ask a parent or member of your family to film you.
Make sure we can see and hear you clearly.
REMEMBER: Clearly state your name and age to the camera at the start of your performance
